PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-dimensional detector for X-ray CT capable of executing image photographing highly precisely in a wide range per unit time. SOLUTION: This two-dimensional detector for X-ray CT is equipped with scintillators 407 arranged in array, for generating a light signal based on an incident X-ray, a photodiode group 406 connected respectively to the scintillators 407 arranged in array, for converting the light signal into an electric signal, a substrate 401 having the photodiode group 406 formed on its first main surface, switching elements 404 installed on the side of the photodiode group 406 on the substrate 401, for binding the electric signals, and data collection elements 405 arranged on the second main surface of the substrate 401 and connected to the switching elements 404.
