<p>Device comprises a metal case (1) with an entrance hall (2) access to which is controlled via a door (3) that is opened by use of a credit card type magnetic strip run through a reader. Within the hall (2) is a chip card reader (4), which allows selection of a bicycle, moped, etc. for hire. A turning plate (6) moves the bicycle before a further door (5) which allows removal of the bike, etc. The plate is turned by an electric motor, which causes the plate to rotate about its axle (7). Location of a number of such storage locations allows a subscriber to hire a product in one location and return it to another location.</p> |
