PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify a toner cartridge being illicitly recycled to inhibit the use of the toner cartridge. SOLUTION: In this invention, it is judged whether a toner cartridge 107 is normally produced or re-charged by determining the residual toner quantity, by referring to the use history information on a toner cartridge 107 including the toner residual quantity information stored in a storing means 113 being detachably held by the toner cartridge 107 and comparing it with the actual toner quantity detected by a toner detecting means 112. |
