PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system where many resources exist in the entire communication network and which manages both the effective utilization of the resources and data protection and multiplexes data at a low cost. SOLUTION: A terminal and a host are provided with an address table including a terminal address and the state information of the terminal, each terminal divides data owned by its own terminal and transfers the data to another different terminal on the basis of the information in the address table, the entire communication network multiplexes the data in such a manner that a plurality of terminals mutually store the data, and system operation continuation impossible notification is issued according to the address table when a terminal where a failure takes place is operable. When the terminal where the failure takes place is not operable, the terminal which selects the terminal where the failure occurs as a transmission destination and detects deficiency of the transmission destination terminal changes the current transmission destination and notifies all the terminals connected to the communication network of the terminal having the deficiency after finishing communication, and the terminals and the host receiving the deficiency notification of the terminal update the address table. |
