PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure fail-safe photometry, even if the state has a photographer apart from a finder eyepiece window with a camera of a type for measuring the light in a finder optical path. SOLUTION: This intra-finder photometric type camera has an optical finder, which observes the subject image photographed by a photographing lens system via the eyepiece window, a photometric device for malering a subject luminace provided in the optical finder, an external image display device which is disposed separately from the optical finder and is capable of displaying the electronic image of the subject, a switching operation means which switches the external image display device to the subject image display state and a non-display state, a reverse incident light regulating means which is switchable to a reverse incident light regulating state for regulating the incidence of the reverse incidence light from the eyepiece window side of the finder on the optical finder not to make incident and a translucent state of making the subject image observable via the eyepiece window of the optical finder, by releasing the regulation and an interlocking means which puts the reverse incident light regulating means into a translucent state, when the non-display state of the external image display device is selected by the switching operation means and puts the reverse incident light regulating means into the reverse incident light regulating state, when the subject image display state of the external image display device is selected by the switching operation means. |
