PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma addressed liquid crystal display device which suppresses and prevent lowering of display quality due to crosstalk phenomenon. SOLUTION: In a liquid crystal display device which is provided with plural pixel regions respectively formed in regions where plural electrodes and plural plasma channels mutually intersect, of which the liquid crystal layers included in the respective plural pixel regions change their aligned states corresponding to voltages applied between the respective electrodes and plasma channels and which performs displaying using light passed through the plural pixel regions, furthermore dielectric structural bodies are provided between the electrodes and the liquid crystal layers in the edge regions including edges of the pixel regions intersecting with the extension direction of the plasma channels. The voltage applied to the liquid crystal layers in the edge regions is made smaller than the voltage applied to the liquid crystal layers in other regions within the pixel regions due to the dielectric structural bodies. |
