PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flash light emission device, which is capable of making highly efficient and stable light emission, according to the respective light emis sion conditions of plural flash tubes. SOLUTION: The flash device which causes plural xenon tubes to emit flat light makes discrimination by a discriminating means as to whether uniform flat light emission is possible, according to the stored data on the flat light emission continuation time stored in a memory means and light emission intensity and light emission time set in the respective xenon tubes and the voltage of a main capacitor, and when the discriminating means makes discrimination that the uniform flat light emission intensity is not obtainable, the light emission intensity is corrected by a light emission correction means. |
