PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transmission control device visually observing a display easily and surely by a driver when manually selecting a speed change ratio width set in a continuously variable transmission. SOLUTION: This transmission control device for the continuously variable transmission selectable between an automatic transmission mode setting the speed change ratio based on the driving states in the prescribed speed change ratio width and a manual transmission mode setting the lower limit of the speed change ratio used in the speed change ratio width based on the manual operation, is provided with a display means 20 having a function distinguishably displaying the lower limit.
