PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive comprising a linear motor for rejecting influence of magnetic field of the linear motor to a magnetism detector. SOLUTION: This drive comprises a linear motor 2 for realizing reciprocal drive of an object, a rod portion 7 that is integrally mounted to the object to transfer a drive power from the linear motor 2, a magnet 9, a magnetism detector 10 for detecting magnetic field of the magnet 9, a position detecting means 14 for detecting the position of the object and a magnetic field shield unit 11 for surrounding the position detecting means 14 to reject the influence of the magnetic field of linear motor 2 to the position detecting means 14.
