PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that the processing speed of a general CPU for executing a sequence program application instruction processing and the other tasks deteriorates due to the necessity of the discrimination of instruction switching from a sequence CPU. SOLUTION: In a general CPU, sequence program application instruction processing is provided with stop processing SS of a sequence CPU, and the sequence CPU converts the contents of an instruction vector register into a stop code by the stop processing through the general CPU. The clock generating circuit of the sequences generates a clock only in a fixed time under the start instruction from the general CPU to the sequence CPU, and enables the re- trigger of the start instruction. After the lapse of a fixed time, the operation is automatically stopped unless the re-trigger is received.
