PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital story preparing and reproducing system that employs digital photographing or the like. SOLUTION: The digital story preparing and reproducing system displays a track 105 for an imported story, a track 110 for a generated story, and a track 115 for a story that is under creation. Each story consists of one object or more. The digital story preparing and reproducing system also displays a large photo 120 corresponding to a selected object in a story and also displays audio clips 130, 135 related to the photo 120. A control button is used to attain movement between the tracks, movement between the objects on each track, recording of the audio clips and creation of a new story.
