PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the strength against stress applying to a fillet part, while securing the axial arrangement width of a bearing metal relative to the high output of an engine in a crankshaft. SOLUTION: A round face 5 to be formed in the fillet part P1 of the crankshaft is set to a partially elliptical shape with an ellipse Co having the long diameter 2X in parallel to the crankshaft center O1 set to a base. Preferably, the basic ellipse Co of the round face 5 formed in the fillet part P1 is so constituted that the ratio of the long diameter 2X to the short diameter 2Y is set to approximately 2:1 and the X, or 1/2 of the long diameter 2X of the basic ellipse Co is set to 0.05 time of the shaft diameter D1 of a crank pin 1 continued to the fillet part P1.
