PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply back up terminal information without using a personal computer or the like. SOLUTION: A first information transmission means 34 is periodically activated by a timer means 40 and transmits the terminal information held by a first storage means 32 to a server device 8. On the server device 8 side, a second information reception means 46 receives the terminal information and stored it in a second storage means 44. Also, an information comparison means 36 periodically calculates a first check sum from the terminal information held by the first storage means 32. Then, the information comparison means 36 receives the second check sum of the terminal information held by the server device 8 from the server device 8 and judges whether or not the first and second check sums match. In the case that a judged result is non-matching, a first information reception means 38 receives the terminal information from the server device 8, supplies it to the first storage means 32 and updates the terminal information held by the first storage means 32.
