PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy grasping of contents recorded in a recording medium. SOLUTION: When a picture obtained by the result of that a two dimensional bar code printed on a label attached to a video tape cassette is image-picked-up is supplied to a personal computer, in a step S23, a picture of the two dimensional bar code included in the picture is recognized. In a step S24, a two dimensional bar code number stored in an AV contents attribute record of the prescribed AV contents is read out, in a step S25, it is discriminated whether the read out two dimensional bar code number coincides with a two dimensional bar code number detected in the step S23, that is, whether the recognized two dimensional bar code is registered by being related to the AV contents or not, when it is discriminated as coincidence, processing proceeds to a step S26. In a step S26, a thumbnail picture of the AV contents related to the two dimensional bar code is reproduced and displayed. |
