<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detection area confirmation display device capable of confirming a detection area easily and accurately with a simple formation. SOLUTION: This detection area confirmation display device 10 confirms a detection area of an infrared detection sensor 1 equipped with an optical unit 4 having a reflecting mirror 2 and an infrared detection element 3. Visible- light projecting units 11, 12, 13 capable of projecting visible light are provided at close range of the reflecting mirror 2. The visible-light projecting units 11, 12, 13 cooperates with angle adjustment of the reflecting mirror 2 for setting the detection area, and projects and displays visible light on a reference position of the detection area. The visible-light projecting units 11, 12, 13 are installed so as to have a visible-light irradiation optical path roughly agreeing with an infrared-ray incident optical path to the optical unit 4.</p> |
