PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processing method and a picture processor, which can correct a gradation skip while the quality of a whole picture is maintained. SOLUTION: In LUT, it is set whether random data is added or not at every area in color picture data displayed by address bit '1' and '2' (data bit 7). Then, ON/OFF of random number addition can be switched in accordance with a character area or an area out of the character area (address bit '0'). Thus, random number data is added only in the area where the correction of the gradation skip is required and the remaining area can maintain an original picture. |
