PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery of organic solvent in which no inner short circuit is caused even if it is made highly capacitive. SOLUTION: For the battery of organic solvent, in which a cathode 2 and an anode 6 are held in layers through a separator 3 having the electrolyte solution of non-aqueous solvent, as a separator, non-woven polypropylene textile of 1-3μm textile diameter is used. By this application, the materials for the cathode and the anode do not break in the separator in the assembling process to manufacture the battery, preventing the inner short circuit, resulting from lowering of the initial voltage, hence, a stable battery with organic solvent.
