PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle wireless data communication system which enables the simplification of the operation and in which a portable terminal and a vehicle device can attain intercommunication data. SOLUTION: The vehicle wireless data communication system is provided with portable unit, having a wireless data communication means and a storage means storing a network establishing code and with an on-vehicle unit, having a wireless data communication means and a storage means storing a network establishing code corresponding to the network establishing code, and when the portable unit approaches a communication available distance of the no- vehicle unit (S1), a network establishing code is collated according to inquiry communication (S2), and when they agree (S3, S5), wireless link is established to activate the no-vehicle unit (S6).
