PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate identification whether or not a memory is efficiently used by displaying what part and how much of the memory is used by a program to be operated on a computer system in an identifiable form. SOLUTION: This display device is characterized by being composed of a trace data collecting means to collect trace data to indicate history information of access to the memory, an editing parameter setting part to set an editing parameter consisting of access frequency range information 511 to sort out the frequencies of access by every unit memory 5121 into plural frequencies by every prescribed range and identifiers 5111 corresponding to each of the access frequencies sorted out by every prescribed range, a trace data editing means to edit the collected trace data according to the editing parameter and a display means to display the range of access frequencies of the edited trace data by every unit memory 5121 by using the identifiers.
