PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sample from being damaged by a service interruption accident in the case of an automatic enclosing processing stage and to surely perform enclosing processing. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a takeout means 30 taking out a slide glass 10 on which the sample is stuck one by one from a container in which the slide glass 10 is housed after it is immersed in a penetrating agent and setting it in a station A, dispersing means 38 and 40 dispersing a mounting medium in a station B, cover glass sticking means 54, 56 and 58 sticking the cover glass 50 in a station C, a housing means housing the slide glass after enclosure from a station D in a housing part, a carrying means 36 carrying the slide glass 10 between the stations, and a main power supply part and an uninterruptible power supply unit as a power supply part. In the case of detecting the service interruption, a control part controls to stop the operation for taking out the slide glass again by the takeout means and perform dispersion processing, cover glass sticking processing and housing processing for the slide glass taken out to the respective processing stations.
