PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens barrel in which the tilt of a lens to an optical axis is easily adjusted from the outside of the lens barrel even after a mechanical mechanism part having an optical lens is assembled in the lens barrel. SOLUTION: This lens barrel is equipped with a tilt adjusting mechanism constituted of a lens holder 11 holding a 3rd lens group, a positioning plate 12 constituted so that one end of the holder 11 may be supported by a lens barrel part 5, a hinge 24 made adjacent to the plate 12 and thin in thickness so that a part of the holder 11 can be bent, a tilt adjusting groove 18 formed at the part of the holder 11 separated from the hinge 24, and a tilt adjusting screw 20 rotatably supported in the lens barrel part 5 and having an eccentric shaft 22 engaged in the groove 18. By performing the rotating operation of the screw 20 from the outside of the lens barrel part 5, the holder 11 is bent with the hinge 24 as a supporting point through the groove 18 with the decentering operation of the shaft 22 so as to adjust the tilt of the 3rd lens group 8 to an optical axis.
