PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a time division multiplexer, which is operated by local feeding power without using an external power source such as commercial power source. SOLUTION: A time division multiplexer 1 is provided with a main body 10 composed of an S-IF transceiver 11, a demultiplexing/multiplexing means 12, a transcoder 13, a CODEC 14 and a general logic circuit 15, a line terminating device 20 composed of LI point processing or the like and a DC/DC converter (internal power supply means) 30 and can receive DC limiting voltages Vin(+) and Vin(-) or local feeding power supplied from a communication line at an LI point, and the DC/DC converter 30 prepares a power source directly usable for the line terminating device 20 and the main body 10 of the time division multiplexer 1 from the supplied DC limiting voltages Vin(+) and Vin(-) and supplies this power to respective blocks comprising the main body 10 and the line terminating device 20. |
