PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for detecting a part position wherein a part is positioned at high precision using a part data which represents various parts. SOLUTION: An element or element group constituting a part mounted with a mounting device is attached with a weight (S4 and S5), and a position information (S8) of the detected element or element group is applied with the weight for calculating the center of the part (S10). The tilt of a part is calculated (S9) based on line segments (S6 and S7) connecting the element or element group selected according to the weight. Since the center of part or its tilt is acquired by applying a weight to the detected element or element group with this configuration, various parts are positioned at high precision. |
