PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make transmittable electronic mail from a portable information terminal, to add voice information to the electronic mail, and to simplify the information input operation of the electronic mail further. SOLUTION: At the time of transmitting an electronic mail, a logical communication path is secured and a data communication state is established further. Then, an electronic mail processing part 111 transmits the electronic mail to an electronic mail service processing part 133. To the electronic mail to which the voice information is to be added, a tag for indicating that effect is attached and it is sent. The electronic mail service processing part 133 stores the received electronic mail. In the case of the electronic mail with the tag, after switching from the data communication state to a voice communication state, a user is urged to generate voice from a voice information processing part 136 through the electric mail processing part 111. The voice information from the user is stored in a voice storage device 14. When all voice input is ended, the electronic mail service processing part 133 takes out the voice from the voice storage device 14, attaches it to the electronic mail and outputs it to the internet 15. |
