PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a facsimile mail from being printed in duplicate. SOLUTION: The facsimile communication control system is provided with a facsimile terminal 1 for entering image information and a controller 2 that is connected to the facsimile terminal 1 and a prescribed mail server 3. The system selects facsimile image transmission or facsimile mail transmission for transmission via a mail server as a facsimile mail, and transmits the image information to a destination. A mail control section 22 of the controller 2 transmits a facsimile mail with an identification number added thereto through the facsimile main transmission, the mail server 3 receives an arrival confirmation mail including the identification umber added to the facsimile mail that is sent from the destination to which the facsimile mail is sent, and transmits a cancellation mail including the identification number when the mail server 3 detects that the mail server 3 receives no arrival confirmation mail within a prescribed time so as to send the image information to the destination through the facsimile image transmission.
