PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor where a forgery behavior is suppressed by a scanner driver or a printer driver and forgery suppression effect is expected to image input from all scanners and image output to a printer and to provide the processing method. SOLUTION: The information processor has an operating system 202 and the scanner driver 211, is connected to the scanner 120 reading an original and converting it into an image signal and accumulates image data which is read by operating the scanner 120. A forgery judgment processing module 213 compares image data which is read by a scanner control module 212 with the image pattern of a specified image. A forgery prevention control module 215 outputs a matching degree whether the specified image is included or not as a decision result based on the compared result. The operating system 202 changes the file attribute of image data in accordance with the decided result.
