PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent invasion of water in the fitting part of seal plates, improve the life of bearing, resolve the problem of removal and move of the seal plates and facilitate gain of magnetic flux density. SOLUTION: A seal device 5 is provided between an inner member 1 and an outer member 2. The seal device 5 has an elastic member 14 to be an encoder grid on the first seal plate 11. Lips 16a to 16c are provided to the second seal plate 12. At the fitting part between the first seal plate 11 and the inner member 1 of a cylinder 11a, an elastic member 20 with a material different from the elastic member 14 is provided. This elastic member 20 is of a thin film of rubber coating, resin paint, adhesive, etc., or ring shape rubber member. |
