PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital camera that has a photographed image transfer means that transfers a photographed image stored in a photographed image storage means adopting a multi-layered folder structure to an external storage device and to provide a photographed image capture means that captures the photographed image to the external storage device from the photographed image storage means. SOLUTION: The digital camera 1 of this invention is provided with the photographed image storage means 14 adopting the multi-layered folder structure to store the photographed image and with the photographed image transfer means (infrared ray port 17) to transfer the photographed image to the external storage device (hard disk 32) and is characterized by transferring the photographed image into a prescribed folder adopting the multi-layered folder structure generated in the external storage device related to a folder of the multi-layered folder structure in which the photographed images have been stored.
