摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To diagnose a failure in a normal state of a contact breaker in the case of failure to the disconnected side, in a state where the drive torque of an engine is connected to a drive shaft and in the case of the one to the connected side under the condition where the drive torque of the engine is disconnected from the drive shaft. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a means for detecting a vehicle speed, a contact breaker control means, that determines and controls the changeover of the connection or disconnection of the contact breaker, based on the speed, a revolution detecting means that detects the revolutions of the engine, and another revolution detecting means that detects those of a second electric motor. Failure in a normal state of the contact breaker can be diagnosed, by providing a means that calculates the difference between the revolutions of the engines and those of the second electric motor, when the interrupter is controlled in a connected state by the contact breaker control means, a means that determines the contact breaker has failed, when the difference in the revolutions is equal to or more than a certain value and calculates the difference between the revolutions of the engine and those of the second electric motor, when the contact breaker is controlled in a disconnected state by the contact breaker control means, and a contact breaker failure determining means that determines the contact breaker has failed, when the difference in the revolutions is less than a fixed value.
