PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data transmitting method for transmitting asynchronously generated music information data with efficiency. SOLUTION: A data transmitter replenishes asynchronously generated music information data with data for synchronization of a length of an integral multiple of a unit data by the necessary number, and converts the data into continuous synchronous data. Then, the transmitter modulates and transmits the data. A data receiver firstly discriminates data corresponding to the top of the original music information data from the continuous data demodulated from the received data. Next, the receiver restores the top data of the original music information data from the data or the data and those following the data. Then, it restores the original music information data from the data subsequently received further.
