PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power source supply controller and a power source supply control method which enable a quick response even to abnormal currents when incomplete short circuit (rare short) is generated by reducing the heat loss of the controller. SOLUTION: When switching-controlling power supply from a power source 101 to a load 102 by a semiconductor switch QA, reference currents are generated by reference current generating means R11, Q2 and Q3, and a reference voltage VDSB is generated based on the reference currents by a reference voltage generating means QB, and a difference between an inter-terminal voltage VDSA of a semiconductor switch QA and the reference voltage is detected by a detecting means CMP1, and the semiconductor switch QA is on/off controlled according to a difference between the inter-terminal voltage VSDA and the reference voltage VSDB detected by a control means 111. |
