PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chip-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor, which having a superior vibration proofing property where soldered sections are not broken nor lead wires are not fractured by vibrations, when the capacitor is used in a state where the capacitor is mounted on a substrate. SOLUTION: This chip-type aluminum electrolytic capacitor is constituted, in such a way that a wall section 2b which is formed to such a height that the section 2b can cover an annular drawn section 1a provided at the time of sealing the case 1, comes into contact with a metallic case 1, the opened end of which is sealed with a sealing member after a capacitor element is housed in the case 1, and holds the peripheral surface of the case 1 by its internal surface is provided at a place, where the peripheral edge of an insulating terminal assembly 2 fitted to the case 1, crosses at least the bending direction of lead wires. Consequently, the reliability of this electrolytic capacitor is improved, because even when strong vibrations are applied to the capacitor in a state where the capacitor is mounted on the substrate, the capacitor exhibits superior vibration proofing property.
