PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a linear movement device smoothly moving a rolling element and enhancing the strength of a scoop-up part of the rolling element. SOLUTION: A moving block 23 is assembled to a track rail 21 via a plurality of balls. End plates 28 constituting a turn passage are attached to the both ends of a moving block 23. This end plate 28 is formed with a scoop-up part 39 for scooping up the balls 24. The track rail 21 is formed with a groove 25 dug down deeper than a ball rolling groove 21a, the scoop-up part 39 is dropped in the groove 25, and the ball 24 is scooped up by the scoop-up part put in the groove 25. For example, the ball 24 can be scooped up in the tangential direction 42 of the turn passage so that the ball 24 can be smoothly moved without forming a level difference in the track of the ball 24 by the scoop-up part 39.
