PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas stove in which heat efficiency is improved, and a pan is placed stably, and further an external appearance is improved. SOLUTION: A trivet 6 is formed with a trivet plate 6a and a plurality of trivet pawls 6b. The annular trivet plate 6a is inclined so as to gradually downwardly move from an outer periphery to an inner periphery. A combustion secondary air introduction hole 7, that is communicated with the inside of a gas stove body 1, is provided in an outer periphery of a juice reception pan 4. There is formed a secondary air passage where air introduced from the introduction hole 7 is guided to a center side where a burner 5 is existent along a lower surface of the trivet plate 6a and is further guided to an outer periphery side along an upper surface of the trivet plate 6a from the center side in the state where a pan 9 is placed on the trivet pawl 6b. The height of the trivet 6 is lowered such that the combustion secondary air is prevented from being supplied to the upper surface side of the trivet plate 6a from the outer periphery side of an upper portion of a top plate 2 or is substantially prevented from being supplied in the state where the burner 5 combusts with a maximum combustion amount and a pan 9 larger than a trivet diameter is placed on the trivet 6.
