The invention relates to a component comprising at least one first diode (D1) and a second diode (D2) which are variable capacitance diodes. The characteristic curve of the second diode is provided with a fixed, known ratio in relation to the characteristic curve of the first diode. The first diode (D1) and the second diode (D2) can be provided with the same variation ratio for instance which is the quotient of the greatest and the smallest adjustable capacity. The inventive components are suitable for being used in television tuners, in three-band tuners for instance. Diodes (D1, D2, D3) having the same characteristic curve of different components (IC1, IC2, IC3, IC4) are arranged and switched in a partial receiving unit (VHF1, VHF2, UHF). The integration of several diodes (D1, D2, D3) results in the number of the required components being reduced and in diodes having good synchronous operation characteristics being composed in a more simple and cost-effective manner.
