The invention relates to a method and to a device for producing reels consisting of a large number of flat objects. The aim of the invention is to improve the quality of reels (4) that are produced by winding a large number of flat objects (2) around a reel core (1) by means of a reeling tape (5). T o this end, a local, additional pressure force is exerted on the periphery of the forming reel (4). The inventive device, in addition to means for retaini ng a reel core (1), means for feeding the objects (2) to a reel point (3) on th e periphery of the reel core (1) or the forming reel (4), means for feeding th e tensioned reel tape (5) likewise to the reel point (3) and a drive for producing a rotating motion of the reel core (1) or the forming reel (4), is provided with at least one means (6) for generating the additional pressure force. The means (6) is for example provided with a press roll (20), a press lever (21) and a press drive (22) and is advantageously disposed in such a manner that the press range in the direction of reeling lies 15 to 60~ behin d the reel point (3). |
