A rotor for a dynamo-electric machine permits higher manufacturing efficiency. The rotor is equipped with a plurality of magnetic portions which are provided between adjacent triangular magnetic poles in an orientation that reduces the leakage of the magnetic flux between the aforesaid triangular magnetic poles, and which are joined to at least one of a first flange and a second flange.
