<p>A children's ride-on vehicle and associated rotation translation assembly (16) are provided. The children's ride-on vehicle (10) includes a body (12), a plurality of wheels (14a-d) rotatably mounted to the body (12), and at least one steerable wheel. The vehicle also includes a steering mechanism (18) including a steering column (52) and an associated steering handle (38). The steering handle (38) is configured to be actuated by a rider sitting on a seat (46) of the vehicle (10) to thereby cause the steerable wheel to turn. The vehicle (10) further includes a direction responsive member (24) extending from the outer surface of the body (12), the direction responsive member (24) being coupled to the steering mechanism (18) through a linkage assembly (20) and configured to rotate in response to movement of the steering handle (38).</p> |
