<p>A ticket provided with a magnetic layer (2) comprising information by the state of magnetization. The ticket comprises a thin carrier (2) and the magnetic layer (2) is constituted by a stripe extending along a direction of the carrier, wherein information is recorded in the magnetic layer (2) in discrete spots thereof, which are magnetized normal to the plane of the layer (2). The carrier (1) comprises in addition to the information carrying stripe a distinct synchronizing stripe (12) extending in parallel with the magnetic layer (2) and consists of periodically repeated sections each being associated with respective one of said spots. The reading of the so recorded information might occur by means of a Hall detector. Owing to the synchronizing stripe (12) and the direction of magnetization the speed of ticket insertion and removal will not be critical for the correct reading of the recorded information.</p> |
