A torque indicating mechanism provides a representative value for torque applied to wheels of earth moving machine. An electronic controller (128) generates a command signal if it determines that received torque value exceeds a preset value. A hydraulic implement controller (129) controls hydraulic fluid flow to hydraulic tilt cylinder in a predetermined sequence activated in response to command signal. The cylinder controllably activates bucket of the machine to remove material from a pile. An independent claim is also included for control method of work implement of earth moving machine.
