Correlation values among a squared in-phase component obtained by squaring a n in-phase component of a base band signal having a preamble signal, a squared orthogonal component obtained by squaring an orthogonal component, and a 1/2 symbol frequency component output from a VCO and oscillator are determined t o thereby generate a phase control signal for performing a phase control by using the correlation values.
