To form a dental bridge, wholly of ceramics, an intermediate piece (4) of ceramic powder which can be sintered is placed between at least two tooth stumps (2,3) at a plaster working model (1). The working model (1) is immersed a number of times in the slip of water and ceramic powder, with drying between dipping, until the stumps (2,3) and the intermediate piece are covered with the required slip thickness. Any surplus slip is removed to give the slip layer (5). On heating, the wax melts, and the bridge is then sintered.
|
