The fuse is designed so that a metallic electric conductor is so applied on a ceramic carrier material, that with quick heating up releases the connection between the conductor and the carrier material. The connection between the conductor and the carrier material is ensured by a shape locking between the galvanically applied conductor and the pores existing in the carrier material. The connection between the conductor and the carrier material is ensured by an adhesion agent designed as an intermediate layer. The electric conductor can be waisted in its central section. The electric conductor can consist of two metallic layers having different heat expansion coefficients lying one over the other.
