<p>An X-ray image diagnostic apparatus for creating an image free from motion artifact by clearing only pixels where the after image of the previous image is strong and thereby shortening the clearing time, comprising a flat panel detector that receives X-rays transmitted through a subject and outputs an X-ray image, image storage means where the X-ray image is stored, display means for displaying the X-ray image, an operation console for transmitting an image read start signal and a threshold value for extracting a specific pixel to be cleared, read control means for controlling read of image data from the flat panel detector (11), previous-image storage means for storing therein the image data on the previous image captured by the flat panel detector and overwrite therein the image data on the cleared specific pixel, and address determining means for extracting the specific pixel on the basis of the threshold value from the image data stored in the previous-image storage means and determining the address, whereby the read control means controls the read of the flat panel detector so that only the specific pixel the address of which is determined is cleared.</p> |
