<p>Fluid pumping apparatus for pumping fluids from a well comprising a downhole pump disposed near the lower end of a production string and including a tubular pump barrel (20) and a tubular pump plunger (30), concentrically disposed in the pump barrel. A standing valve (23) is provided in the fixed pump barrel and a traveling valve (31) is provided in the reciprocating plunger. A power device has a cyclindrical polished rod (36) with the diameter at least as great as the outside diameter of the pump plunger.</p> |
