<p>A joystick is simplified in construction to improve durability. A lever (2) is fixed to a spherical or cylindrical magnet (1), which is also used as a lever fulcrum by being turnably supported, and a magnetic sensor (5) is disposed close to the surface of the magnet, wherein the inclination of the lever is detected by a change in the intensity of the magnetic field on the magnet surface due to spacing from the magnetic pole, the detection output being used as an operating signal.</p> |
