The vane pump has a pump pack (P) consisting of pressure plates (12, 13), a rotor (14), working slides (15) and a cam ring (16). The pack has a lid (11) and a casing (10). It also includes a pin (18) of unhardened material, the free end of which is deformed so that the pump pack is held together when the pump is removed.
