A skateboard (10) is movable in response to user commands using a remote control unit (30). A doll (20) is secured upon the upper surface of the skateboard in a standing position. The doll includes an upper torso (21) freely pivotable upon a lower torso (22) by a pivotal attachment (34, 35) therebetween. The upper torso further supports a pair of freely pivotable arms (27, 28). An offset weight (33) is secured within the doll upper torso to cause response to momentum changes by the skateboarding doll as the skateboard moves about. The doll upper torso and arms freely move in response to momentum changes of the skateboard to provide a realistic appearing skateboarding doll.
