摘要 <p>Process for measuring gas concentrations comprise guiding the radiation beam in an optical fiber waveguide up to the optical measuring path on the radiator and the detector sides and selecting the permeability of the waveguide corresponding to the absorption bands of the substance being detected. Preferred Features: The length, diameter and maximum curvature of the waveguide are selected depending on the absorption properties, concentration of the gas being detected and the optical and physical properties of the waveguide material. A protective tube is placed around the waveguide to prevent waveguide fluids running out of the waveguide.</p>
