A module (3) common to all devices consists of a voltage regulator (3a) supplying computer (2) and a start circuit (3b) for initiating regulator and computer. In the stand-by mode the start circuit input (3**) is grounded through a resistor (7) and the regulator is switched off. Closing a device switch (4 or 5) applies voltage to the input of the start circuit to initiate the regulator and computer.
